Dotson Salutes - Toni Morrison

This salute has been three days in the making.

Monday night I watched this documentary directed by Francis Ford Coppola called "The Last Malts." It was a documentary about a band that had no name and they played a concert and had lots of special guests like Toni Morrison!

Toni Morrison looks like this--

And in the concert for "The Last Malts," Toni Morrison performed his song "Caravan" and did an awesome job!

This is Toni Morrison performing the song right here---

AWESOME, RIGHT???

Great sound, man. Great fucking sound. If that music doesn't give you chills then give you chills be having!

INDEED!

Later in the show when he's STILL performing "Caravan," Toni Morrison did these "kick" things where he would kick in the air.

It looked like this---

AND he was wearing a jumpsuit!

I mean, "HELLO, VICKSBURG!!!!!"

ON THIS GREAT DAY, MAY 8, 2008, DOTSON SALUTES TONI MORRISON FOR BEING IN "THE LAST MALTS," FOR PERFORMING "CARAVAN" BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE PERFORMED "CARAVAN" AT THAT CONCERT AND IN FACT NOBODY ELSE EVEN DARED TO PERFORM "CARAVAN" BECAUSE TONI MORRISON'S PERFORMANCE OF "CARAVAN" WAS SO AWESOME THAT THEY WERE AWED AND THERE WAS NO WAY IN HELL ANYONE WAS GOING TO RISK INJURING THEMSELVES DOING ONE OF THOSE KICK THINGS BECAUSE ONLY A SKILLED PROFESSIONAL LIKE TONI MORRISON SHOULD ATTEMPT SOMETHING LIKE THAT BECAUSE HE IS FROM THE ATLANTIC OCEAN, EITHER FROM SCANDINAVIA OR IRELAND BECAUSE I FORGET.

Today's Dotman Joke is about giving dogs the finger.

And there's a new David Lynch video out there where David Lynch does stuff with Crispin Glover.

LOL! I'm seeing Crispin Glover show his film "What Is It" in Phoenix on Sunday, and this was perfect! David Lynch won over by food, as per usual. XD

"Mmm!"

Hahaha.

Nice! I saw Christian Glover screen "What Is It" last July in Hollywood. You are in for a... memorable night my friend!

And if you stay for the Q & A, be sure to ask an "important" question, because Christian Glover looooooves "important" questions.
